Father You hear the prayers of Your people over Canada! We give thanks that prayers for Canada are rising from different corners of this nation and from many intercessors globally. We know that you are pleased with your prayer army interceding for Canada. 

• In the final hours before Election ends, continue to stir us to KEEP PUSHING IN PRAYER – there is the urgent need to keep praying. We are fighting this battle on our knees! 

• We ask of you to show Your mighty presence as your prayer army assembles this evening at 6:30pm EST.  We pray for more b/s to see the urgency of assembling to pray! 

• Pour out Your Spirit on us – as Your Prayer army, we need an upgrade from you! Release on us Your fresh anointing of Intercession and Proclamation!

Isaiah 44:3 For I will pour water on the thirsty land… I will pour my Spirit upon your offspring, and my blessing on your descendants.

Lord Jesus, during this critical moment in Canada, awaken the ekklesia (the called-out body of believers, the church)  to her true identity as Your royal priesthood and holy nation. Help us to embrace our God-given authority and purpose in Christ

• Ignite a revival in Your church across Canada, stirring believers to rise up with boldness and passion. Pour out Your Spirit on your people as promised in Isaiah 44:3.  

• Shield Your church from worldly pressures, frivolous discussions, and  busy programs that result in fruitless outcomes. 

• Raise up Your Church as a house of prayer, interceding fervently for the turnaround of Canada. May we be Your vehicles of change to heal the Land. In Jesus’ Name!

CANADA FOR THE NEXT GENERATION
Psalms 78:6-7 so the next generation might know them – even the children not yet born – and they in turn wil teach their own children. So each generation should set its hope anew on God, not forgetting His glorious miracles and obeying His commands.

Father we pray for Canada as the nation where generations can prosper and follow the commands of the Lord. 

• We pray for You to establish policymakers that reject agendas that erode personal freedoms, parental rights, or societal cohesion. 

• We pray for governmental leaders that boldly uphold Canada’s sovereignty and traditional values, guiding the nation away from trends that undermine family, faith, and freedom. 

• We ask that generations of Canadians to come will find on this land hope and purpose in God’s design for their lives, contributing to a sovereign prosperous nation, May they find freedom to express themselves without fear of censorship or social pressure.

Psalms 5:11b Spread your protection over them, that those who love your name rejoice in you.

Father, we pray for all candidates and their families today: 

• We pray for peace and resilience for candidates to handle the pressures, criticisms, and challenges of the election process with grace and composure. May you protect them against harm, threats, or undue stress. 

• There will be those that win, and those that lose. Whatever the results, may Your grace and compassion be with all of them and their families. 

• We pray for those candidates that are followers of Christ, may they follow the guidance of the Spirit, be filled with joy and grace in all that they do. We ask for WORSHIP to arise from the candidates joining the fervent prayers and worship of intercessors who lift them up before Your throne. In Jesus’ Name!

Ephesians 4:3 Make every effort to keep yourselves united in the Spirit, binding yourselves together with peace.

Father, we pray for UNITY in Canada! 

• We pray for Your wisdom for an election outcome that ensures all provinces feel heard and valued in national decision-making. 

• We pray for reconciliation where historical or political tensions exist between provinces. Lord, release your forgiveness and understanding. 

• We pray for a new Government that legislates policies and discussions that bridge economic disparities between provinces, ensuring equitable opportunities for all Canadians. 

• We crush every evil attempt to divide Canada during this election. In Jesus’ Name! 

Ephesians 5:12-13a For it is shameful even to speak of the things that they do in secret. But when anything is exposed by the light, it becomes visible…

Father, we lift up the hidden issues in this election that are often overlooked.

• We rebuke the silent stronghold of voter suppression. Expose every barrier—whether through inaccessible polling places, misinformation, unclear ID laws, or red tape—that discourages voter participation.

• We cut off all foreign interference in Jesus’ Name. We resist disinformation, cyberattacks, and propaganda meant to sway undecided voters. May every candidate aligned with these tactics be exposed and rejected.

• We pray against hidden lobbying by corporate powers—whether through backroom deals, strategic donations, or agenda-driven ads. Shine Your light on every effort to manipulate this election.

Gal 5:1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage.

Father, we lift up British Columbia and Manitoba to You. Both are swing provinces with number of ridings showing neck-to-neck polls between parties. 

• We speak God’s justice and mercy to key issues in these provinces: housing; cost of living; economic recoveries; climate policies, health care… 

• We pray healing and empowerment over Manitoba’s Indigenous peoples which have faced historical and ongoing challenges. 

• We lift up BC’s 42 ridings and Manitoba’s 14 ridings – grant voters discernment to choose leaders who uphold justice, compassion, and integrity amidst a tight race. We pray for Your scales of favor and mercy to tip to those candidates that You have appointed. In Jesus’  Name!

Isaiah 45:2 I will go before you and will level the mountains. I will break down every door of bronze and cut through every bar of iron.

Father, we lift up the Province of Ontario to you today. Ontario holds over a third of the 343 electoral seats. We declare Your sovereignty over Ontario’s 121 ridings – from Ottawa to Windsor. 

• We break every stronghold that resists Your purposes. We break strongholds of division, polarization, and secularism in Ontario. 

• We dismantle strongholds of fear and economic anxiety. We rebuke the spirit of pride and self-interest. We pray for humble hearts. 

• We uproot strongholds of apathy and disengagement. Raise up generations that pray, vote and seek Your will for Canada’s future.

• We decree transformation over Ontario. Lord, we ask for breakthroughs and restoration upon this land.

Psalms 33:20 We put our hope in the Lord, He is our help and our shield.

Father, we pray for swing ridings (ridings that are of strategic importance and have close margins of win/lose). We pray for God's favor and guidance over the outcome of these ridings. 

• We pray protection over these critical ridings. Guard against any attempts at deceit, voter suppression, or undue influence. 

• Lord, help voters to seek truth, evaluate candidates and policies, and make decisions that align with Your will for Canada. 

• Lord You hold The hearts oF leaders and the course of nations. Raise up leaders who will govern with wisdom, fairness, and a commitment to serve the people.

Psalms 22:27-28 All the ends of the earth shall remember and turn to the Lord, and all the families of the nations shall worship before you. 28 For kingship belongs to the Lord, and he rules over the nations.

Father, on this Good Friday, and for the Easter weekend - advance polls are opened. Lord, we speak truth, peace, order, and righteousness over all poll stations.  We declare the resurrection power of Jesus over our Election. 

• Father, bless and strengthen all election workers, volunteers, and officials. Give them patience, fairness, and clarity as they serve the public today.

• God of justice, we pray that the voting process will be free from fraud, manipulation, or bias. Let integrity mark every vote cast and counted. 

• Lord, stir the hearts of citizens to participate in this democratic process. Let there be a strong and peaceful turnout. In Jesus’ Name!

Proverbs 29:2 – "When the righteous thrive, the people rejoice; when the wicked rule, the people groan.

Father we pray for the Election Debate in English to be held today. Protect our nation from division, political hatred, and unrest. We come against any attempt from the kingdom of darkness to spread fear. We speak the Shalom of Jesus into our nation! 

• Lord, open the eyes and hearts of voters to discern rightly. Help citizens make informed, wise decisions that align with godly values and justice.

• Lord, let the debate be a catalyst for national reflection, repentance where needed, and a renewed commitment to truth, justice, and compassion.

• Sovereign Lord, we commit this debate and the entire election into Your hands. Clothe the one You have chosen to be Canada’s next Prime Minister with Your anointing and favor.  In Jesus’ Name!

John 8:32  Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.

Father, we pray for the Election Debate to be held today (French) and tomorrow (English). Thank You for the democratic process and the freedom we have to elect our leaders. Thank You for the opportunity it gives the public to hear from those seeking office.

• Lord, we ask for a peaceful and respectful debate. Let there be no confusion, hostility, or disruptions. Guide every word and exchange with civility and calmness

• Lord, let TRUTH prevail during the debate. Expose deception and manipulation. Let every hidden agenda be brought to light, and let honesty be the hallmark of every statement made.

• Father, we pray for those moderating and covering the debate. Give them fairness, impartiality, and discernment. Let the media report with integrity and without bias. In Jesus' Name!

Acts 16:31 They replied, ‘Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—you and your household.

Father, we lift up families across the country. We ask of You to strengthen homes, provide for needs, and bring healing where there is brokenness. Let Your grace touch every household.

• Father, protect our families from division or tension caused by differing political views. Let love, respect, and understanding bind families together.

• Keep our families spiritually awake and alert. May we be sensitive to Your leading and not be swayed by worldly pressures.

• Lord, grant us a Government that upholds the values of family. Let Canada be known for being gracious to single-parent families, orphans and widows, and the oppressed. 

Psalm 78:4 We will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord… so the next generation would know them, even the children yet to be born…

Father, we pray for the education system in Canada. Pray that candidates and parties with wisdom, integrity, and a heart for the next generation will be elected.

• We ask God to guide Federal leaders to make education a priority, especially in the areas of education funding, Indigenous education, and national strategy. *

• WE pray for protection over the system from politicization, extreme ideologies, and woke agendas. Pray that policies will support freedom of thought, conscience, religion, and expression within schools.

• We pray that funding would be allocated wisely and fairly across all regions and school types. We pray against funding spent on promoting woke agendas.

Matthew 6:10 Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.

Father, we pray for a shifting of policies and laws in Canada. Forgive us, as we have made laws that rejected and dishonoured you.

• Father, let policies reflect justice, compassion, and Your righteousness. Cause the laws of this land to protect life, uphold freedom, and champion the oppressed.

• We declare a reversal of ungodly decrees and laws and ask for legislation that aligns with heaven’s agenda.

• We especially bind and rebuke every spirit of hostility, intolerance, and secularism that seeks to marginalize or silence the Church. We declare that God’s people will continue to be a beacon of hope and charity. Let Your light shine forth through Your people throughout Canada!

1 Timothy 2:1 …that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people—for kings and all those in authority…

Father, we declare that Your wind of change is sweeping through the the Governments   around the nations! May Your Spirit of transformation come upon Canada! 

• Lord, let Your wind of change blow through the halls of Parliament and every seat of authority. We ask You to dismantle ungodly systems and rebuild foundations rooted in truth, righteousness, and justice.

• We call forth revival in the capital—let the wind of Your Spirit stir in government offices. Encounter our political leaders. Let them come to know You personally. Let revival touch even Parliament Hill.  Surround Members of Parliament and officials with godly counsel and divine encounters. 

• Raise up intercessors in every province to partner with You in this spiritual shift.​

Proverbs 16:2 – “All a person’s ways seem pure to them, but motives are weighed by the Lord.”  

Father, we pray for the Party Leaders in Canada today: Pierre Poilievre; Mark Carney; Yves-Francois Blanchet; Jagmeet Singh; Jonathan Pedneault and Elizabeth May. 

• Raise up leaders with hearts to serve, not just to win. We declare that you are the God that judges pride, selfish ambition, lies, and self-serving motives.

• Lord, guard the mouths of our Party Leaders. Let truth and honor prevail over slander, fear-mongering, or manipulation. Let there be integrity in speech and campaigning. 

• Give each leader genuine concern for the well-being of all people—especially the marginalized, Indigenous communities, and the young generation.

• Lord,  let every Leader submit to Your purposes for Canada. In Jesus’ Name!

Philippians 4:19 – And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus.

Father, today we lift up the Canadian economy to You and we ask for grace and restoration.  

• Wisdom for Government & Economic Leaders- Father, grant wisdom, integrity, and vision to our leaders—federal, provincial, and local—as they make financial and economic decisions that affect millions.

• We pray blessing over businesses, entrepreneurs, and workers. Let creativity and opportunity flourish.

• We ask for healing for those who’ve lost jobs, businesses, or homes. Bring comfort and restoration. You are Jehovah Jireh—our Provider.”

• We remember the marginalized and poor. We break the bondage of poverty over them. In Jesus’ Name.

John 14:27 - "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid."

Father, with the global tariffs war and economic instability going on in Canada, many are living in fear. We pray for:

• Protection from Financial Fear: We declare that we will not be ruled by fear or anxiety regarding tariffs. We do not allow worry to consume us. We trust in You as our Provider  to meet our needs.  

• Peace in the midst of Economic Shifts: May the peace of God reign in us and prevent us from making hasty and wrong decisions while in fear. The shalom of Jesus gives us the confidence and clarity to focus on what’s important for Canada, and cast our votes wisely.  

Isaiah 62:6  I have posted watchmen on your walls, Jerusalem; they will never be silent day or night…

Father, in less than 3 weeks, we will be having our Federal Election. May you raise up intercessors that will see the urgency of praying for Canada: 

 

• Father, the Church is your Prayer Army. Every believer is called to be intercessors. May You move every believer from apathy to being awakened and being advocates of prayer! 

• We ask God to unite and mobilize intercessors across denominations, generations, and regions. 

• We ask God to stir our hearts with urgency and boldness. Call us out from busyness and  distraction. Teach us to pray with precision and authority and fill us with Your fire!

James 3:17-18 But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit impartial and sincere. 

Father we pray for the Boomers and Gen X. They have the highest voting rate amidst the generations. Father, we give thanks for them as they have walked through decades of change, challenge and growth. They are the steady presence in our families, churches, and communities. 

• We pray for the Boomers and Gen X to engage the younger generations in conversations, listening to them and journeying with them along the way. 

• May Boomers and Gen X model to others what it means to seek the good of all people and to be good stewards.. 

• May the Lord make them the peacemakers, and we bless them with wisdom from abvoe. In Jesus Name!

1 Tim. 4:12  Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.

Lord, we pray for Gen Y and Z voters (between ages 18-44). They are now the biggest voting group, yet their voting rate is comparatively low. We pray for these young people: 

• We speak HOPE into these two generations in the Name of Jesus. Let them see hope in their future, let them see the love of the Father amidst their struggles. 

• We pray for them to see that their voice does matter. Help them to see how their votes can make a difference. 

• We pray for young people who are engaging in the election – as candidates, as election office workers, and volunteers. May they be the growing force within Canada.

Isaiah 60:18  Violence shall no more be heard in your land, devastation or destruction within your borers; you shall call your walls Salvation, and your gates Praise.”

Father, we pray against all foreign interference on Canada: 

• We pray against all activities funded by foreign interference to oppose any candidates, 

• We ask You to stop all media manipulation which include radio, print media, and internet-based. 

• We ask you to remove any money laundering and financing activities. 

• We pray for a strong national security culture to be built. Lord, strengthen both the physical AND spiritual borders of Canada. In Jesus’ Name!

Psalm 101:6-7 I will not allow deceivers to serve in my House, and liars will not stay in my presence.

Father You are the God of truth, justice, and righteousness. We ask that every lie spoken by candidates be exposed. Shine Your light on every falsehood, deception, and hidden agenda. If any candidate is deceiving the people, misrepresenting their intentions, or speaking falsehoods, we ask that You bring their words into the light. 

​

We pray for divine justice in this election. Let no candidate prosper who builds their campaign on deceit. Expose the lies and remove those whose intentions are corrupt. In Jesus Name! 

Col 2:8 Don’t let anyone capture you with empty philosophies and high-sounding nonsense that come from human thinking and from the spiritual powers of this world, rather than from Christ.

Father we pray for the Canadian media. Let truth and integrity prevail. May they provide fair, accurate, and unbiased reporting during this campaign. We pray against the spread of false narratives, distortions, and divisive rhetoric. Lord, may you crush every effort to use media for deceitful or manipulative purposes. Let every hidden agenda be exposed, 
Lord, silence voices that seek to stir up strife, and raise up those who be peacemakers. In Jesus’ Name. 

Proverbs 2:6 For the Lord gives wisdom; from His mouth come knowledge and understanding.

Father, we pray for all Canadians eligible to vote. We pray for: 

 

• Voters will exercise our civil duty to vote.

• Voters take the time to research candidates, and reveal what each Party is saying. 

• God to release Your truth, righteousness, and clarity onto all voters, so they will not be swayed by misinformation,  empty promises, and hidden agendas.

Psalm 24:3-4a Who shall ascend into the hill of the Lord? Or who shall stand in His holy place? He that hath clean hands and a pure heart…

Father we pray for all candidates: Christian and non-Christian. We bless every candidate with the grace and truth of our Lord Jesus. We pray for integrity, honesty, and respect as each one prepares for election day. May you give wisdom and favor to those that desires to follow you. May You raise them up as light and salt, expand their territories and establish them in Your love. In Jesus’ Name.  

1 Cor. 4:2  Moreover, it is required of stewards that they be found faithful.

Lord, we pray for a Government that will have good fiscal management and lead Canada to be good steward of the resources You gave us. Remove any leaders that mismanage resources, strip off those that use taxpayer’s funds to serve their own agenda.   In Jesus’ Name! 

Proverbs 10:29  Whoever walks in integrity walks securely, but whoever takes crooked paths will be found out.

Lord, we ask of you to raise up leaders in Canada that are filled with integrity. You are the God that examines each of our hearts. May you expose and reveal any lies and darkness. 
May our leaders choose to humble before you and acknowledge that Canada truly needs you. In Jesus’ Name! 

Proverbs 29:18(a) – "Where there is no vision, the people are unrestrained..."

Father, without a Godly vision, a nation perishes. 
Canada needs change! May You raise up leaders in Canada who see Your vision. We ask for leaders who are courageous and have the God-given abilities to lead Canada to rise to our occasion and grow as a nation. In Jesus’ Name!

PRAY for leaders who are not self-seeking. Ask God to raise up leaders who truly want to serve Canada. Pray for leaders with vision and creativity. 
 

Around 1776 a word was given and recorded by the Puritan Reformers: when the British Empire Loyalists turned north to settle in Canada in order to remain under British rule. When zealous Americans sought to persecute them because of this decision, the Spirit of the Lord spoke to them saying, “Do not hinder these people. Let them move to Canada. Do not seek to  incorporate the land of Canada into America. I am in the independence of America from Britain, and will mightily use this country But Canada has been reserved by me for the Last Days for a special work.”

Lord, we proclaim that:

• You have a purpose for Canada. 

• You have a mission for Canada, especially in the last days.

Whereas Canadians may be discouraged, disappointed, or even in despair of many things going on in Canada, we declare that God has not given up on Canada. We speak HOPE into Canada that declare that Canada has a future. 

2 Chron. 7:14-15 “if my people who are called by my name humble

 

themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land. Now my eyes will be open and my ears attentive to the prayer that is made in this place.” 

Lord, as your people, we respond by humbling ourselves, praying, seeking Your presence. Forgive our sins, forgive the sins of Canada. We proclaim this is the season for Canada to turn from our wicked ways. Hear our prayers O Lord, we cry out to You. Hear the prayers of Your people as we pray for Your mercy and healing to fall on this nation. In Jesus’ Name!

Psalm 72:8  "He shall have dominion also from sea to sea, and from the river to the ends of the earth."

Today, we proclaim that God has dominion in Canada from sea to sea. Our God reigns! 
We cry out to our Lord today for mercy and grace on our Land. Canada needs a turnaround, Canada needs change.   
Lord, we ask you to come and transform us! Release Your winds of change on this land!

• Pray for the Canadian Church to be awakened to the importance of praying for Canada. 

• Pray for intercessors to multiply, and that everyone remains resilient and faithful to praying. 

• Pray for a canopy of prayer to be built over Canada as prayer arises from east to west, and north to south.​
